Hi Joan,

I think Mr Tutt spend his last day at the office mostly

drafting this letter. Excusing themselves once

more and passing the buck.

This is now a democratic process and we will have to see

what comes out of it in the end.

I have said my peace, in putting our case to the top of

Parliament and have included all stakeholders in the last

couple of weeks leading to the shutdown, and it is now

for them “Lawmakers and Lawbreakers” to rumble over.

I will be watching every move in isolation and be ready

when it is time to come back.

(Fingers crossed, we all make it through)

The world clock would have been reset by then.

(Lets also hope Justice Prevails)

I have just now been notified  that Sonja Brown has flu type symptoms

coming of her shift last night, and told her to go to the doctor and have

herself checked out. I told her to self-isolate and stay home until declared

to be ready for work.

We Brothel Licensees need some directions from the Authority on the way

forward and give us a protocol for our industry as it does include body

to body contact.

I find the PLA and our so called Principal Policy Officer slow of the mark

on this very important Health Issue, and did not see it in his last

published PLA newsletter.

Once that protocol is set and delivered the question remains??

How are you going to get that extremely urgent message out

to your Queensland Private Service Providers under the authorities

umbrella, without a Fixed Address nor a Landline Phone Number.????

It is in my opinion of vital importance that this information should absolutely

be necessary in an emergency such as this.

Decriminalisation and writing a new Lose Ball Act is

“Time Consuming, Costly and Detrimental”.

1. It will show up in her budget when presented.

2. It will also show up that my prediction is correct

    In that it has already been ticked off as heaving passed

    without any further consultation.

3. It is flawed undemocratic and deceptive at the least.

4. They should be held accountable,

     and we will, as we turn the clock back. 

The purposeful undoing of a WORLD CLASS Prostitution Act

Is not an option, as it will send the

Queensland SeX Industry back in to the dark ages.

Her blocking efforts have given the Queensland Prostitution Act no chance

at all to progress to its WORLD CLASS potential.

She needs to show her true colours before too much damage is done to

the Act, it would make unscrambling of it near impossible

once past parliament.

This has been a disturbing position taken by the ALP. The Act was introduced

by the then Premier the Hon Peter Beatie. And enacted on as recommended by

the Royal commission inquiry led by Tony Fitzgerald.

This decriminalisation matter is only to disguise their neglect and try

and discard themselves from an embarrassing position and a great

Dis-service to the community of Queensland.

(Legal Brothels in Queensland have been proven to be a

“Safer Alternative to any other form of Prostitution”.)  

Our Democratic voices as in Brothel licensees should be put

on the table to be discussed before the extremely expensive destructive

exercise of decriminalisation is bought to tuition.

We want to put a stop to the rot and leave a “WORD CLASS PROSTITUTION ACT” intact.

It only needs a little tweaking. The industry evolves and loopholes that have occurred

Dear Jackie you are either for a Highly Regulated Sex Industry or a Decriminalized one.

There can be no Grey, it has to be Black or White. Please let it be known.!!!

There is only 1 State, 1 Territory, 1 Country that has adopted this

Lose ball Policy, and with it raised more questions than answers.

No where else in the world have they taken up this “Can of Worms”.

The so call Swedish Model was partly adopted, and pushed the industry

further underground.

In NSW it’s a mess and in New Zealand it’s not much better

10% Legal = 90% Illegal. How can you call that the way forward???

You have been in the news of late for all of the wrong reasons, so there

must be a question mark over your stance on this STATE ISSUE. There for

you should declare yourself out of bound on pushing for a direction to

“quote” Decriminalise would lead to “POLICY FAILURE”.

I also note that the PLA’ Policy is to change their staff around every 5 years

so as to prevent corruption, and or going stale on important issues.

The Chair and the Executive Director are exempt from the change over

if they desire to stay on. (Please correct me if I’m wrong)

In my opinion you have exceeded your past due date by a long shot.

As Margaret and yourself have held up progress, and did not allow

We have not seen a substantial pushback from the PLA on this matter,

full well  knowing that it would lead to their own DEMISE.

We Brothel Licensees want our voices heard and taken seriously as we are TOTALLY

against De-criminalization and Pro further regulations as recommended by

the then CMC in 2004,2006-20011.

The reason why we are on the brink of POLICY FAILURE is because two

recommendations have never been implemented and therefore Queensland Legal

Brothel Licensees have been denied there Mortal Input.

This is put to all stakeholders, as we demand this extreme serious

matter to be put on the table so that we can have a Democratic, to Rule of Law

hearing on this outrageously expensive exercise as there is a much cheaper

solution and that is to advertise with a Queensland Landline Phone Number only

as so heavily advocated. (PETF Senior sergeant Peter Jory called it a “NO BRAINER”.
